Dundee Memorial Day Parade, 2010

Allegiance Winter Guard is a non-profit co-ed youth performing arts organization based in Dundee, Illinois. Our goal is to provide fun and educational experiences for young people through the art of color guard and dance.

Allegiance was created in January 2010 to provide a competitive color guard program for young people in the northern Illinois area. The group started with 30 members between they ages of 6-22 and they performed in a total of five parades in the summer of 2010. When the 2010/2011 winter guard competitive season began, the group was divided into two units: Allegiance (ages 14-22) and Allegiance Cadets (ages 6-13). Both guards finished the season with top honors at the 2011 Midwest Color Guard Circuit Championships (MWCGC) held in La Porte, Indiana. Allegiance captured the silver medal in the Independent Regional “A” class division while the Allegiance Cadets earned the bronze medal in the Indpendent “Cadet” class division.
